Description
Victoria 1/2 Farthing 1844, S3951, Young Head, MS63 RB NGC, tiny abrasions on the bust and elsewhere but this is a nearly immaculate and fully original copper displaying almost full mint brilliance, only lightly oxidized. Rare as such, despite the modest numerical grade assigned, and surely among the finest known examples of this modest little coin, most of which perished long ago. Compare this coin to all the other MS pieces you can locate, and you will appreciate how special it is. This coin glows!From the Exeter College Collection
