Issued for Victoria's 1887 Jubilee and missing only the smallest gold denomination of the set, the 1/2 Sovereign, this predominantly choice set includes a toned set of silver issues, joined by a Sovereign and 2 Pounds both gem and expressing blooming golden luster. Only the 5 Pounds displays signs of past cleaning. The set is sold with its red case of issue, decorated with gold trim and Hanoverian arms, also in gold.
