Victoria gold Proof 1/2 Sovereign 1887 PR65 Ultra Cameo NGC, KM766, S-3869, Marsh-478G. An incredibly well-preserved selection from the original mintage of only 797 pieces. The fields are virtually jet-black and lend a stupendous canvas to the lavishly frosted motifs. Few rather inconsequential wisps noted surrounding her bust, the reverse is virtually devoid of any detracting marks.
