Description
Victoria gold "Shield - Raised WW" Sovereign 1854 MS62 PCGS, KM736.1, S-3852C, Marsh-37A (R2). Raised WW on truncation. A significant rarity for the date, with the majority of the population occurring with the incuse WW initials. An old scrape noted behind the Queen's neck along with light wisps on her bust, the reverse essentially pristine and very pleasing. Presently the sole highest-graded example at PCGS.Ex.
