Description

Victoria gold Sovereign 1844 MS63 PCGS, KM736.1, S-3852. Small (or, spread) "44" variety. An absolutely enchanting example for this earlier date, fully Choice and brimming with character. Faint wisps can be noted on the young Queen's portrait and fields when viewed at an angle, rather inconsequential as a whole. The shielded reverse is as bold as they come, supported by full-bodied underlying luster.
