Description
Victoria Halfcrown 1899, S3938, Old or Veiled Head, MS66 PCGS, Superb Gem UNC with wonder color, bold strike, almost flawless in terms of marks, cartwheel luster beneath vivid golden blue iridescent toning. High end for the numerical grade. Eye appeal off the charts. The owner of this consistently high-grade collection states: "This is the finest Old Head halfcrown I've seen in 10 years of searching." Not only that, but 1899 is not a date seen with much frequency even in choice condition. The best there is, a great coin! From the Guilford Courthouse Collection.
