Victoria Halfpenny 1838, S3949, Young Head, MS65 BN PCGS, first year of issue and seldom seen in MS, this piece not just MS but Gem UNC, light chocolate-brown in color with more than a hint of golden mint red, bold strike, and excellent eye appeal. "W:W." incuse as it appears on proofs of the next year with a colon after the first initial. The best example of this date seen by the cataloguer in decades.From the Guilford Courthouse Collection.
