Description

Victoria Pattern 1/2 Farthing 1868, Struck in copper-nickel, KM-PNM115, PF64 NGC, ex Remick Collection. Remick would have collected the denominations below a farthing as they were often used throughout the British Colonies. It is hard to fathom how far a 1/16 of a Penny (1/4 of 1/4) would go, but it is obvious there was a call for this denomination since they were struck in quantity.

Metal: Bronze
