Victoria Proof "Gothic" Crown 1847 PR60 PCGS, KM744, S-3883,
Esc-2571. UN DECIMO edge. Of Victoria's numerous series of coinages
throughout her prolific reign as Queen of the British Empire, so
few of her issues are as sought-after as the 1847 "Gothic" Crown.
While the base of the obverse appears silver, the true toning is
revealed with just a small twist into the light. It dawns a
beautiful tangerine-gold hue, complimented by a touch of lavender
on the left.Metal: Silver
