William IV Proof Crown 1831, S3833, Plain Edge, "W.W." incuse block capitals, coin rotation, PF62 NGC, bold proof impression with all the wonderful tiny details showing on the shield, pleasing original choice surfaces with the portrait lightly frosted and most attractive, sparkling mirrors beneath delicate golden blue iridescence, high wire rims unblemished. Date "ANNO 1831" on reverse shows ghosting from the double proof strike. Rare.From the Highlands Park Collection of British Coins.
