Victoria bronzed copper Proof Penny 1861 PR66 Brown PCGS, KM749.2, S-3954, Freeman-36 (R17). Unsigned beneath bust, with 16 leaves in laurel wreath. Immaculate quality, with the bronzing evenly accomplished, and fields that remain deeply mirrored and free of handling or spotting. Some recutting is noted on the second "1" in the date. A rare issue in Proof condition and of the highest desirability when encountered this fine.
