Description
Victoria Proof Crown 1893 PR66 NGC, Royal mint, KM783, S-3937, ESC-2594. LVI edge. Highly sought quality for this proof-set-issued crown, displaying smooth reflectivity that is undiminished by handling and toning from boxed storage that is gold and mauve in hue with flares of electric-blue that intensify the brightness. For the sake of completeness, a few spots of foreign matter are noted around Victoria's head, but after close inspection, these don't appear to be detrimental and could likely be removed via conservation (without altering the tone) should the next owner deem it necessary.From the Cape Coral Collection of British Crowns
