ATTICA. Athens. Ca. 510/500-480 BC. AR tetradrachm (20mm, 17.30 gm, 2h). NGC Choice VF 4/5 - 2/5, test cut. Head of Athena right, hair in straight braids along brow line, wearing crested Attic helmet, the crest box ornamented with chevron pattern, bowl decorated with single spiral / AΘΕ, owl standing right with closed wings, head facing; olive sprig with two leaves and berry behind, all within incuse square. HGC 4, 1590 (ca. 500/490-485/480 BC).
