1883-CC GSA Dollar, MS67
Virtually Pristine
1883-CC $1 GSA MS67 PCGS. A thin crescent of greenish-blue
and amber-gold toning encompasses the left-hand stars, yet the
remainder of the coin's surfaces are entirely untoned and frosty
white. An oversized PCGS holder encases the original GSA holder of
issue, showcasing the seldom-awarded MS67 PCGS grade and its GSA
origin. Variety specialists will note faint die clashing on both
sides and a die scratch that runs horizontally through the eagle's
upper-right (facing) wing. The strike is suitably sharp for the
Superb Gem grade and the eye appeal is terrific. The coin's black
GSA box and numbered certificate are included. Population: 8 in 67
