Description
1883-S $1 Soft Pack VF30 Uncertified. The 1883-S is rarely seen in a GSA soft pack. A search of our Permanent Auction Archives, which date back to 1991, indicates that we have offered 670 1883-CC GSA dollars, but not a single 1883-S in that category. Stone-gray and chestnut-brown with unobtrusive marks noted on the eagle's breast and near 9 o'clock on the obverse. Included is the blue envelope and two certificates of Mint issue.(Registry values: P7, N1)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 407148)
