Description

Noteworthy 1890-CC GSA Dollar, MS62

1890-CC $1 MS62 NGC. Though the 1890-CC has a high original mintage, most of the pieces were paid out, either near the time of manufacture or in later decades. The GSA inventory of the pieces showed fewer than 4,000 examples. This attentively struck example displays lovely gold and apricot overtones, as well as swirls of milky patina. Decisively struck with strong luster, though the fields and devices show a number of abrasions. Band-certified in the original holder with accompanying box and informational insert.(Registry values: P5, N491)
