Description

Surprising 1891-CC GSA Dollar, MS63

1891-CC $1 MS63 NGC. Band-certified in the original holder of issue. The 1891-CC was a comparatively under-represented issue in the GSA sales, with only 5,687 pieces in the inventory after 1964, according to statistics cited by Bowers in his A Guide Book of Morgan Silver Dollars (2005). This minimally toned and lustrous dollar is well struck with light, scattered abrasions that account for the grade. The original box and documentation accompany the lot.(Registry values: P6, N491)
