Surprising 1891-CC GSA Dollar, MS63
1891-CC $1 MS63 NGC. Band-certified in the original holder of issue. The 1891-CC was a comparatively under-represented issue in the GSA sales, with only 5,687 pieces in the inventory after 1964, according to statistics cited by Bowers in his A Guide Book of Morgan Silver Dollars (2005). This minimally toned and lustrous dollar is well struck with light, scattered abrasions that account for the grade.
