Description

1793 Fine 12 Corroded. B-4, C-4, R.3. Short 7, with long, widely spread stems. The commonest variety of this first year issue. The surfaces are lightly corroded and there are several long and deep planchet flaws on the reverse. Darker steel-gray color in the fields with curiously contrasting pinkish-tan highlights on the devices.
