1793 C-4 Half Cent, Fine 12 CAC
High Quality First Year Issue

1793 1/2 C C-4, B-4, Low R.3, Fine 12 PCGS. CAC. Manley Die State 1.0, with no defect at the top of 7 in the date, and light clash marks appear between the cap and head. Attractive medium chocolate brown patina uniformly blankets both sides. Planchet quality is excellent with no visible granularity. Smooth and even wear with only trivial marks, less than usually seen for the grade. A solid strike with good detail on the portrait, cap, and wreath. A wonderful specimen of the first half cent with the iconic Liberty Cap Facing Left design. Justifiably endorsed by CAC.
