1793 C-4 Half Cent, Fine 12
Chocolate-Brown, Bold Legends

1793 1/2 C C-4, B-4, Low R.3, Fine 12 PCGS. Manley Die State 2.0. This die marriage was the last of four varieties produced in 1793, and it is also the most available of the four by a narrow margin. Although a few small scratches and other handling marks are noted on each side, this first-year half cent has smooth mahogany and chocolate-brown surfaces with a few splashes of lighter tan, as well as an unobtrusive ebony area of granularity on the left obverse field. Our EAC grade VG7.
