Description

1793 1/2 C --Corroded--ANACS. VG Details, Net AG3. C-2, B-2, R.3. A popular first-year half cent, the Cohen-2 is also the second scarcest variety of the year. Although corroded, this piece has fully visible details and letters save for a partially obscured LIBERTY. The fields are deep brown, which contrasts against the lighter devices. Despite corrosion, this piece would make a nice and relatively affordable type coin. EAC 3.(Registry values: P8)
