Bold 1793 C-1 Half Cent, AU Details
1793 1/2 C PCGS Genuine. C-1, B-1, High R.3. The PCGS number ending in .94 suggests Altered Surfaces as the reason, or perhaps one of the reasons, that PCGS deemed this coin not gradable. In our opinion, this coin has the details of an AU specimen with altered surfaces. Both sides are pleasing light to medium brown with perceptible granularity but few other imperfections of any consequence. The opportunity to acquire any boldly defined 1793 half cent is rarely encountered. MRB VF35.(Registry values: P8, N8)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2222, PCGS# 1000, GSID# 429)
