    Bold 1794 Half Cent, AU55 PCGS

    1794 1/2 C AU55 PCGS. B-6b, C-4a, R.3. The 9 in the date is low, and the E in UNITED is entered high. The Small Edge Letters subvariety is assumed, since the Large Edge Letters is extremely rare. An intricately detailed mahogany-brown early Half Cent with generally smooth surfaces. A faint die crack (as made) wanders across STATES OF. Struck from clashed dies.
