Impressive Near-Mint C-1a 1794 Half Cent
1794 1/2 C AU58 NGC. C-1a, B-1a, R.3. Presumably the more available Large Letters Edge variety, although the encapsulation prevents confirmation. This partly lustrous piece has alternating tan-gold and medium brown toning. This example has a small spot at 8 o'clock and a few faint scattered marks near the rims.
