Description

1794 1/2 C --Damaged--ANACS. VF Details, Net Fine 15. B-1a, C-1a, R.3. Rich, medium, olive-brown toning envelops both sides of this nicely balanced example. Well centered within denticulated borders, the features display no more than the expected amount of wear for the VF grade level. Both sides are lightly abraded, but the only singularly mentionable disturbances are an old scrape over Liberty's chin and a fresh scratch in the reverse field above the C in CENT.
From the John H. Crisp Collection.
