1793 C-1a, B-1a Half Cent, VF35
Large Edge Letters
1794 1/2 C Normal Head, C-1a, B-1a, R.3 VF35 PCGS. Large
Edge Letters. The wide, recut date is far below the bust line, and
that single feature is diagnostic for the die marriage. Cohen-1 is
usually found with Large Edge Letters, while all other 1794
varieties are normally seen with Small Edge Letters. The pleasing
medium brown surfaces are blended with golden-brown, olive, and
steel. Scattered handling marks are expected at this grade. Our EAC
