    Description

    1794 C-4a, B-6b Half Cent, VF25
    Small Edge Letters

1794 1/2 C Normal Head, Small Edge Letters, C-4a, B-6b, R.3, VF25 PCGS. CAC. The C-4a, B-6b 1794 half cent ranks among the plentiful varieties of the date, making an ideal candidate for the type or date collector. In our opinion, this is a one-year type coin as the head is distinctly different than the 1794 High Relief obverse, and far different from the head that appears on 1795, 1796, and 1797 half cents. This piece has excellent olive and steel-brown surfaces. Our EAC grade Fine 15. (NGC ID# 2223, Variety PCGS# 35036, Base PCGS# 35015)

    Weight: 6.74 grams

Thanks to Heritage I realized a handsome profit for my coin submissions and intend to send most of the remainder of my collection to Heritage Auction Galleries for future auctions.
