Description
1794 C-4a, B-6b Half Cent, XF45
Endorsed by CAC
1794 1/2 C Normal Head, Small Edge Letters, C-4a, B-6b, R.3,
XF45 PCGS. CAC. Manley Die State 3.0, the usual state. Although
the edge is not available for inspection due to the holder, the
more common Small Edge Letters variety is presumed. The 9 in the
date is entered low. The chocolate-brown surfaces of this XF45 are
satiny with virtually no signs of verdigris. A small dig is visible
on the cap, while elsewhere only a few tiny, scattered marks are
seen. The overall quality is verified by the green sticker from
CAC, a designation seldom seen on pieces in this grade.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2223, Variety PCGS# 35036, Base PCGS# 35015, Greysheet# 80845)
