Attractive Choice AU 1795 Half Cent
C-1, B-1, Lettered Edge
1795 1/2 C Lettered Edge AU55 NGC. C-1, B-1, R.2. Manley Die
State 1.0 without a bulge through the AME in AMERICA. A splendidly
detailed and partially lustrous example of the widely sought
Liberty Cap, Bust Right design type. Medium brown overall, although
protected areas are chocolate-brown. The fields are uncommonly
mark-free, and the portrait has only a few small ticks. Minor spots
are noted within the E in AMERICA and on the obverse rim near 9
o'clock. Most 1795 half cents are corroded and/or heavily
circulated, which makes a lightly circulated example highly
