1795 1/2 C Plain Edge, No Pole, Thick Planchet, C-5b, B-5b, R.4,
Fine 12 PCGS. Ex: Jon D. Lusk Collection. Scattered marks are
noted on the chestnut and chocolate-brown surfaces of this
important piece that is struck on a thick planchet. A few small
patches of corrosion and other minor imperfections are of no
concern. This example is probably struck over a mis-struck large
cent as most were, although no undertype is evident.From The Jon D. Lusk Collection.
