1797 C-2 Half Cent, VF25
Plain Edge, Normal Date

1797 1/2 C Plain Edge, C-2, B-2, R.3, VF25 PCGS. The usual die state with a straight die crack on the lower left reverse. There is no sign of a Talbot, Allum & Lee cent undertype. Deep brown with lilac and ocean-blue overtones. A faint thin diagonal mark reaches the T in CENT, but the overall appearance is minimally abraded and attractive. Our EAC grade Fine 12.
