Debut 1800 Draped Bust Half Cent, C-1, B-1, AU58
1800 1/2 C AU58 PCGS. C-1, B-1, R.1. The first year of Draped Bust half cent coinage is readily available due to hoard discoveries, nearly all in late die states such as this piece. The surfaces are dark steel with considerable luster still remaining on both sides. The central obverse and reverse are nicely struck up, with typical weakness at the borders. A few minor imperfections are evident on each side. EAC 45.(Registry values: P5)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 1051, GSID# 465)
