1800 C-1, B-1 Half Cent, MS64 Brown
The Norweb Collection Coin

1800 1/2 C C-1, B-1, R.1, MS64 Brown PCGS. Ex: Norweb. Robert Scot's Draped Bust design was introduced on silver dollars in 1795, cents, half dimes, dime, quarters, and half dollars in 1796, and half cents in 1800. Lustrous blue-steel surfaces show scattered grade-limiting marks. A sharply struck example, aside from the usual weakness at the upper right reverse, this Choice Mint State half cent features splashes of mint red in the protected areas and a small splash of peach toning on the reverse. Population: 4 in 64 Brown, 0 finer (1/25).
