Rare Late State 1803 C-2, B-2 Half Cent, VG8
1803 1/2 C VG8 PCGS. C-2, B-2, R.4. Breen Die State IV, Manley State 2.0. The reverse has a faint crack through the tops of ATES OF AMERIC, a die state called "extremely rare" by Walter Breen, and "Rare" by Ron Manley. Although it appears recolored, this is a wonderful example for the grade, with smooth, problem free surfaces, aside from the usual grade-consistent abrasions.
