    Glossy Near-Gem 1804 Crosslet 4, No Stems Half Cent

    1804 1/2 C Crosslet 4, No Stems MS64 Brown NGC. B-11, C-12, R.2. The glossy, mottled brown surfaces are well struck, especially on the reverse. A few light specks of carbon are seen on each side. While a common coin in Uncirculated condition, it is unusual to find this variety in such a superior state.
