    1804 C-12, B-11 Half Cent, MS64 Brown
    Crosslet 4, No Stems

1804 1/2 C Crosslet 4, No Stems MS64 Brown PCGS. C-12, B-11, R.2. Manley records a single die state for the variety, and this piece appears to be a late stage with heavy clash marks below the hair ribbon and die roughness in the left obverse field. Both sides exhibit full cartwheel luster with frosty mint surfaces. The obverse is dark chocolate while the reverse is mostly light tan with a splash of greenish-steel toning at the upper left. Hints of faded mint red remain on the obverse. Our EAC grade MS60. Population: 8 in 64 Brown, 0 finer (5/13).(Registry values: P4) (NGC ID# 222F, PCGS# 1072)
