    C-2, Crosslet 4

    1804 1/2 C Crosslet 4, Stems, C-2, B-3, FS-301, High R.6 -- Tooled, Scratches -- NGC Details. AG. Manley Die State 1. A well-worn chocolate-brown example of this rare die variety. The Liberty portrait and the wreath are mostly outlined, although the rims grow weak along the left-hand borders. BERTY in LIBERTY is visible, as is the 804 in the date. The surfaces are generally smooth, but with faint tool marks in the fields. The obverse has some old vertical pinscratches on Liberty's hair. Our EAC grade AG3.
