Crosslet 4, Stems, Late Die State

1804 1/2 C Crosslet 4, Stems MS63 Brown NGC. CAC. C-10, B-9, R.1. The upright Crosslet 4 on the obverse and the heavy ridge or crack through the R in AMERICA identify this variety. Manley Die State 3.0, the usual die state with no visible border details on either side. This olive-brown and steel example has cartwheel luster with considerable mint frost. Our EAC grade AU55.(Registry values: P4)
