1804 1/2 C Spiked Chin, C-5, B-4, R.4, XF45 PCGS. Manley Die State 5.0. The reverse has a heavy bisecting die crack with additional peripheral die cracks. Three of the four known 1804 Spiked Chin varieties are scarce or rare. One of those is offered here, a splendid example of the 1804 C-5, B-4 Spiked Chin. This lovely olive-brown example has a few splashes of chestnut color on the pleasing surfaces. A minuscule corrosion spot is noted in the right obverse field. Our EAC grade VF30.
