Description

1805 C-1 Half Cent, MS62 Brown
Superlative, CAC-Approved No Stems

1805 1/2 C No Stems, Small 5, C-1, B-1, R.1, MS62 Brown PCGS. CAC. Manley Die State 1.0. Stunning golden-biscuit surfaces are complemented with blue-steel on the design elements, with mustard illuminating some of the reverse letters. Abrasions are minimal, both for the grade and in absolute terms, creating splendid eye-appeal that is well-deserving of the CAC approval it received. The rim break right of A3 noted by Manley for Die State 1.0 is not apparent on this coin, but the centering issues he cites may be the culprit.
From The Siesta Key Collection.
