Description

1805 1/2 C Small 5, Stems--Corroded--NCS. VG Details. C-3, B-3, R.4. Manley Die State 2.0, the usual state for this variety with a prominent die bulge in the right obverse field. A number of low grade pieces have been found during the last several years, reducing the rating from R.5 to R.4. This variety remains highly desirable, regardless of its overall condition.
This piece has minor corrosion on each side, with some additional verdigris on the reverse. The surfaces are steel-brown, and the overall appearance is certainly acceptable. EAC 6.
