Scarce 1805 C-3, B-3 Half Cent, Fine 12
1805 1/2 C Small 5, Stems Fine 12 PCGS. C-3, B-3, R.4. A heavy die bulge appears in the right obverse field. This is the usually seen die variety of the Small 5, Stems, although it is hardly common. Only about 100 examples are known in all grades, usually very well worn and corroded or otherwise damaged. Despite some typical abrasions and faint, old scratches, this piece has an excellent appearance, with pleasing medium to dark brown surfaces.
