Fine C-3 1805 Half Cent, Small 5, Stems

1805 1/2 C Small 5, Stems Fine 12 PCGS. C-3, B-3, R.4. Manley Die State 2.0. A heavy die bulge appears in the right obverse field. This is the usually seen die variety of the Small 5, Stems, although it is hardly common. Only about 100 examples are known in all grades, usually well worn and corroded or otherwise damaged. Despite some old faint scratches and selected strike softness on HALF CENT, this piece has a pleasing medium brown appearance. In a green label holder. EAC 8.(Registry values: P5)
