1806 Half Cent, MS64 Brown
C-4, Large 6, Stems
1806 1/2 C Large 6, Stems, C-4, B-4, R.1, MS64 Brown NGC.
Manley Die State 1.0, as are most high-grade examples with a
well-struck date. This splendid half cent is mostly chocolate-brown
but displays many glimpses of mint red in design recesses. The
strike is good despite minor incompleteness on portions of the
wreath and the ES in STATES. Our EAC grade MS62. C-4 Census: 4 in
64 Brown, 2 in 64 Red and Brown, 0 finer (10/15).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 222J, Variety PCGS# 35200, Base PCGS# 1099, Greysheet# 80897)
