1806 Large 6, Stems Half Cent, MS63 Brown
C-4, Pleasing Light Color

1806 1/2 C Large 6, Stems MS63 Brown PCGS. C-4, B-4, R.1. The peak of the large 6 in the date is firmly affixed to the bust, the upright of the R in LIBERTY is missing its right foot, each wreath branch has five berries, and an engraver's scratch at the right end of the fraction bar extends almost to the right ribbon. Pleasing light tan surfaces reveal hints of underlying mint orange, especially on the reverse. The design features exhibit nice definition, save for minor softness in some of the venation of the reverse leaves. There are no significant abrasions or unsightly spots to report. Our EAC grade AU50. Population: 19 in 63 Brown, 2 finer (5/13).
