1807 C-1, B-1 Half Cent, MS63 Brown
Late Die State
1807 1/2 C C-1, B-1, R.1, MS63 Brown PCGS. CAC. Ex: Carvin
Goodrich Collection. This Select Mint State example features the
usual late die state with peripheral weakness on both sides. Slight
die bulging is noted in the right obverse field and border details
are lacking. The lustrous surfaces display distinctive golden-brown
toning with splashes of bluish-olive on the obverse device. Maroon
toning spots on the reverse will aid those who seek the provenance
