Description
1809 1/2 C Circle XF40 NGC. C-4, B-1, R.2. The "Circle" feature is a repunched digit with a large 0 over a smaller 0, giving the appearance of a circle inside that element. Traditionally called the "Circle in 0" variety, this obverse is identified as "LG/SM 0" on the NGC label. An attractive example, the bluish-brown surfaces showing only a few trivial marks.
