Not Sold Description
1809/6 1/2 C MS63 Brown PCGS. C-5, B-5, R.1. Technically not an overdate, but rather a blundered date with the digit 9 over an inverted 9. This should properly be described as an 1809 over Inverted 9 variety. This is a lovely two tone example with frosty light tan and darker steel toning on both sides. Some peripheral weakness is visible at the upper obverse and lower reverse. Population: 5 in 63, 4 finer (1/05).(#1126) (Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 1126, GSID# 705)
