1811 C-1, B-1 Half Cent, VF25
Wide Date, 'Four-Star Cud'
1811 1/2 C Wide Date, C-1, B-1, Low R.4, VF25 PCGS. Manley
Die State 5.0. This rare late die state features cuds over the
first four stars, giving it its distinctive moniker. The reverse
die is rotated about 15 to 20 degrees clockwise, as usual. Medium
brown surfaces are well-worn, but the major design elements retain
good detail. Steel-blue accents occur within the recessed areas.
