Interesting 1828 12 Stars Half Cent, MS64
1828 1/2 C 12 Stars MS64 Brown PCGS. B-3, C-2, R.2. A curious mint blunder, apparently the engraver absent-mindedly neglected to enter the final star, since there was space for it on the obverse die. Although designated as Brown, strong undertones of rose color are noted near the obverse periphery and in the reverse field areas. A carefully preserved if typically struck representative. EAC 60.
